Students in the John Volken Academy Ranch addiction recovery program in Gilbert, Arizona volunteered to be photographed by me for the 2020 Working Cowboys & Cowgirls: Building Sobriety Calendar. I have served on the board of directors for the last six years and donated the photography and design of the calendar to provide the students with an opportunity to build self-acceptance as part of their addiction recovery.
